Brice Construction and Design has been recognized by the Houston Contractors Association (HCA) with a 2026 Safety Award Certificate.
The HCA Safety Program encourages companies in the heavy civil construction industry to increase awareness of workplace hazards and use practices that reduce the risk of injuries and fatalities. The program also recognizes the broader value of strong safety and health programs, including improved compliance, reduced costs, stronger worker engagement, and better business operations.
In 2026, HCA presented Safety Award Certificates to companies with an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) below 1.0. Brice Construction and Design was among this year’s certificate recipients, with an above-average EMR of 0.60.
