STG Inc. installed 1,222 eight-inch diameter pipe piles to depth of 35 to 60 feet, topped with 4.5-foot diameter, 2,000-pound concrete caps – all within 18 production days. Achieving a rate of nearly 68 piles and caps per day, STG utilized two rigs: a hydraulic pile driver and a crane with a diesel hammer. Remarkably, no piles were rejected for tolerance, plumb or height, and all caps met the ¼”- ½” grade clearance. Handling over 4.8 million pounds of material with zero injuries or incidents, this project highlights STG’s efficiency, precision, and adherence to the highest industry standards.
